Commanders of the Tyranid swarm, Hive Tyrants are the enactors of the Hive Mind's will. Massively powerful creatures, every part of their body is perfectly created to maim and kill. The Hive Tyrant is an incredibly dynamic model, posed with monstrous, fibrous and ragged wings extended out wide and with only its serpent-like tail touching the ground, as if launching off into flight or pouncing on its prey.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Winged Hive Tyrant, an impressive and incredibly dynamic leader-beast that can be built to take on a variety of battlefield roles. This looming creature is a fitting centrepiece for any Tyranid army. The kit features a huge variety of weapons options, including two scything talons, a heavy venom cannon, a stranglethorn cannon, and a bonesword and a lash whip – as well as biomorphs like adrenal glands and toxin sacs, plus other components for customising your Hive Tyrant. You can also choose to build this kit as a wingless Hive Tyrant, or the insidious Swarmlord. The Swarmlord is as old as the Tyranid race itself, the very pinnacle of the Hive Tyrant bioform's evolution. It is a monster of darkest nightmare that has preyed on empires and overseen the extinction of entire civilisations – virtually immortal, as upon death it is remade by the Hive Mind with the exact same memories, personality, and knowledge, growing stronger with every reincarnation. This set comprises 59 plastic components, and is supplied with one Citadel 60mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
